B&B News and Information!
Scoops, & Spoilers Below
NEWS
Joanna Johnson (Karen) has come out as gay as B&B embarks on its first-ever
lesbian storyline. She revealed the news to TV Guide saying, "Daytime is a whole
different world than prime-time or theater or film.... I was so worried I
wouldn't be employable as an actress if people knew I was a lesbian. Or that I
wouldn't be believable in romance stories. I had to deal with a lot of
self-loathing." Johnson also shared that she is married and has two children.
The actress's B&B alter ego, Karen, is revealed to be a lesbian this week with
the debut of her partner, Crystal Chappell's Danielle.

B&B goes to Italy's southern coastal region of Puglia, in
and around the Masseria San Domenico and Borgo Egnazia
resorts, on May 7 to film 8 - 10 episodes that will air in
the late spring. So far, Ronn Moss (Ridge) and Katherine
Kelly Lang (Brooke) will be there, with at least three other
cast members. B&B is wildly popular in Italy and has done
several other shoots in the country before.
B&B marks its 25th anniversary with a special episode
airing Monday, March 26, centering around families gathering
and long-standing grievances being set aside for the wedding
anniversary party of matriarch Stephanie (Susan Flannery)
and patriarch Eric (John McCook); the love triangle between
stepsisters Hope (Kim Matula) and Steffy (Jacqueline
MacInnes Wood) with Liam (Scott Clifton); the interference
of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Ronn Moss), Taylor
(Hunter Tylo), Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom)
into Hope, Steffy and Liam's love life; Hope's ongoing
therapy with Dr. Stacy Barton (Hillary B. Smith) to deal
with her deep-seated intimacy issues; the engagement of
Marcus (Texas Battle) and Dayzee (Kristolyn Lloyd); and the
introduction of a new character, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey),
who is connected to a core character's past and future.
Created by the late William J. Bell and his wife, Lee
Phillip Bell, B&B premiered on March 23, 1987. It is

John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Ronn Moss (Ridge
Forrester).
The Associated Television International (ATI), which has
produced the Daytime Emmy Awards since 2009, has decided not
to do so this year. The chairman of The National Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Bruce Rosenblum vows to
continue "to explore all broadcast possibilities including
network, cable and digital media in order to produce a
prestigious show that will satisfy the daytime community,
fans and the worldwide viewing audiences."

Jack Wagner (Nick, B&B; ex-Frisco, GH; ex-Jacques, Sunset Beach) was reunited
with his biological daughter, Kerry, 23, in Boca Raton, Florida, on November
17, 2011. Before a concert with fellow GH alum Rick Springfield (ex-Noah),
Kerry approached him backstage and revealed that she's the daughter he'd given
up for adoption in the late '80s. She showed him a photo of her biological
mother, whom the actor recognized. The next night, Jack invited Kerry on stage
with him and revealed to the audience that he'd "been" with her mother back in
the day; the woman then called him nine months later to inform him that she'd
had his baby but was giving her up for adoption. Kerry was raised in a foster
home, then hired a private investigator to find her biological parents. Jack
also has two sons with ex-wife Kristina Wagner (ex-Felicia, GH): Peter, 21 and
Harrison, 16. Jack and Heather Locklear announced the end
of their engagement.
Lindsay Price (ex-An-Li Chen Bodine; ex-Michael, B&B) and Australian chef
Curtis Stone had a baby boy named Hudson on November 6, 2011. They moved into a $3.1
million mansion in the Hollywood Hills together in April.
To make the Daytime Emmy nomination process fairer in
2012, NATAS (The National Academy of Television Arts and
Sciences) has instituted some changes. There will no longer
be a limit of 2 actors from each show who can submit their
name in the pre-nomination process in each category.
Therefore, everyone will have a chance to be considered for
an award, not just the most well-known actors. Also, judging
pre-nominees hopefuls will take place online. The top 10
pre-nominees from each category will be announced on March
2, 2012.
Emmy-winning writer Michele Val Jean has left GH after 18
years to join B&B's writing team. She also wrote for "Santa

written "The Modern Gentleman: Cooking and Entertaining with
Sean Kanan" -- a guide with good advice and tips for today's man.
While appearing on Y&R, Sean's on a book tour, so check out
his schedule at
