BRENNAN AND BOOTH HAVE ANOTHER REASON TO CELEBRATE AS FOX DELIVERS AN EIGHTH SEASON OF “BONES”
It’s a Girl! BONES Returns with a New Arrival on the First of Seven All-New Episodes Monday, April 2, on FOX
FOX has renewed the hit series BONES for its upcoming eighth season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.
“Over the past seven seasons, Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and the incredible BONES cast and crew have redefined the traditional crime procedural with an irreverent and adventurous sensibility and I’m really happy to have this distinctive, fan-favorite on our schedule for another season,” Reilly said.
BONES returns with seven in a row, all-new episodes on a new night and at a new time beginning Monday, April 2 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). In the first of these episodes, “The Prisoner in the Pipe,” the remains of an escaped convict are found in a residential sewer, but an examination of the sewer pipes indicates that the murder occurred within prison walls. When Brennan (Emily Deschanel) insists on solving the crime – despite Booth’s (David Boreanaz) pleas for her not to overexert herself – the expectant couple experience a very untraditional arrival of their baby daughter.
During the upcoming eighth season, BONES will celebrate its 150th milestone episode.
BONES is a darkly amusing procedural centered on a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who can read clues left behind in victims’ bones and an FBI agent. These unlikely partners take on homicide cases involving human remains that most forensic specialists can’t handle. The series stars Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, TJ Thyne, Michaela Conlin, Tamara Taylor and John Francis Daley.
BONES is from Far Field Productions and Josephson Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Hart Hanson. Hanson, Stephen Nathan, Ian Toynton, Barry Josephson and Carla Kettner are executive producers. “Like” BONES on Facebook at

Dear Friends and Those Who Pretend to Be Friends (you know who you are,
but we pretend to love you anyway),
We're very excited about BONES moving to its new night and time beginning
Monday, April 2 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, which makes us feel like the
show is premiering for the second time in one season. Next season we hope
for three or maybe four premieres, but for now two will have to do. Of
course, we wanted you to be the first people to see this all-new episode
since it's another game-changer for the show.
This season, we have brought Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David
Boreanaz) together as a couple, something many thought would be the kiss
of death for the show. But we thought, "'Moonlighting' be damned." Since
Bruce Willis had hair then, that means that it was so long ago, no one
even remembers that show. Happily, because of the wonderful Emily and
David, it turns out that Booth and Brennan are a great couple that the
audience seems to be enjoying more than ever. And with the arrival of the
baby in this episode, we think the fans will be even more pleased.
So here we go - a new baby, new conflicts, new murders, and in this
episode, even a lovely prison riot. We could go on, but that would just
delay you from watching the show. So enjoy. And thanks for all your
support.

THE TEAM DEBUNKS THE MURDER OF A MYTHBUSTER AND HONESTY IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY ON “BONES” THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, ON FOX
Jo Anne Worley (“Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In”) and Ryan Cartwright Guest-Star
The remains of a mythbuster television show host are found in the wilderness appearing to have been killed by the mythic Chupacabra, a reptile-mammal hybrid creature whose existence has not been confirmed. The team soon learns that the victim traveled to the remote West Virginian area to debunk the Chupacabra myth, and they interrogate possible suspects, including a rival wilderness-channel host/cryptozoologist/pet psychic (guest star Jo Anne Worley). But when a tape is recovered at the crime scene and peculiar tooth marks are found in the victim’s remains, the team learns new details about the victim’s demise. Meanwhile, recovering alcoholic squint Vincent Nigel-Murray (guest star Cartwright) makes amends with each member of the team and makes some surprising confessions. Then in the second hour, the team identifies the remains of a successful ad man found in the grounds of a newly built community center playground. Upon inspecting the victim’s home and interrogating his former partner and employer, Booth and Brennan discover that the victim burned bridges by adopting an aggressive attitude toward honesty and was a member of a radical honesty support group. Meanwhile, each of the team members attempts to adopt a more honest way of communicating that doesn’t always lend itself to good relationships, and Angela urges Hodgins to confront the realities of their pregnancy in the “The Truth in the Myth/The Pinocchio in the Planter” two-hour episode of BONES airing Thursday, Sept. 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. both viewer and employee awareness of environmental issues, FOX talent,
shows and employees are stepping up their efforts to help preserve our
planet. In addition to the numerous eco-friendly activities that the
network and its sister companies support year-round, FOX’s Earth Week

more sustainable lifestyle. Tune in throughout the week to HOUSE, GLEE,
RAISING HOPE, AMERICAN IDOL, BONES, FRINGE and other series to learn more
about environmental issues and what you can do to help. In addition, these
“Green It. Mean It.” talent tips were provided to more than 2,000 radio
stations for use in all day-parts throughout the month of April.
· www.fox.com/greenitmeanit : To better support the network’s
greening efforts, FOX has revamped and re-launched
http://www.fox.com/greenitmeanit, the network’s
dedicated “Green It. Mean It.” website. The site hosts videos, photos and
information to help viewers track the network’s achievements and learn how
they, too, can make a difference. Additionally, in an effort to promote

FOX Talent “Green Tips” are available at
http://www.fox.com/earthday for viewing and
sharing across social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Examples
include:
From BONES Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT):
* Emily Deschanel – “Don’t know what to do with your old computer?
You’re not alone. Only half of our states make retailers take back old
devices for proper recycling. If your state isn’t one of them, email a
local legislator to talk about a “Take-Back Law” in your area.”
* David Boreanaz – “Turning off the tap while you brush your teeth
could save you up to five gallons a day. If each of us made this small
change, the savings could add up to 1.5 million gallons: equal to what
New York City consumes in 24 hours.” FOX’s Earth Week initiatives are only a small part of FOX’s ongoing “Green
It. Mean It.” campaign. For the past six years, FOX has hosted the FOX
Fall Eco-Casino party, a benefit for various eco-friendly charities,
including The Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los
Angeles, Global Green USA, among others. Last year, FOX donated two solar
panels, previously used on the AMERICAN IDOL finale red carpet, to schools
in Los Angeles and New York. This spring, FOX will donate the solar panel
from its most recent Emmy Awards red carpet to an additional school. In
addition, the Environmental Media Award-winning TEEN CHOICE AWARDS
annually implements numerous “green” initiatives, including the use of
solar and natural gas power, a Woolly Pocket vertical garden as a
step-and-repeat and, in a red carpet first, cyclists generating power to
cool talent and the media.
