  A new hour-long medical drama series with an ensemble cast that includes "Smallville's" Erica Durance and "The Vampire Diaries'" Daniel Gillies.

• Taylor Kinney (Mason) stars in this new Web series, DATING RULES FROM MY FUTURE SELF, a new web series from Alloy Entertainment (Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries), also starring Shiri Appleby (Roswell/Life Unexpected).  It premieres today on Facebook at www.facebook.com/DatingRules.
  The series follows 27-year-old Lucy (Appleby) who starts getting text messages from herself ten years in the future, warning her to change her dating strategy. With the help of her future self, Lucy must face her current longtime boyfriend, who she knows isn't the one. Alison Becker (Parks & Recreation), Bryce Johnson (Pretty Little Liars), Mircea Monroe (Episodes) and Martin Starr (Knocked Up) co-star in the nine-episode series.
  New episodes of DATING RULES FROM MY FUTURE SELF will air every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

• Stephen Amell, best known for his lead role on the third season of the HBO hit series, "Hung," has just joined the cast of ABC's hit show "Private Practice". Amell has been cast in a recurring role as a paramedic named "Scottie". Also known for his substantial roles on various CW shows including "The Vampire Diaries" and "90210."
